Possum Labs is a pioneer in developing incentive aligned DeFi systems following the concept of Hyperstructures.
We build public goods that don't rely on the generosity of donors, but instead inherit positive feedback loops from the incentive-aligned economic design.

We welcome value accrual as a useful tool for growth, but say no to parasitic value extraction.
The PSM token is at the heart of our ecosystem and functionally integrated with all our products. Establishing PSM as the exclusive currency in our ecosystem allows for value accrual in accordance with ecosystem growth and also eliminates the need for protocol fees. This maximally aligns interests between users and investors, creating postive feedback loops.
During its early days, the Possum project is led by Possum Labs, a team of DeFi veterans and decentralisation enthusiasts. However, the positive sum movement is a concept of openness that is not exclusive to a small team.

Our commitment to incentive-alignment makes on-chain capital allocation mandatory to give power to the community. The Possum Core is our answer to that.

With the release and future iterations of the Possum Core, the community of PSM holders obtains control over treasury budget decisions. This means, financing any activity in a decentralized way, be it development, growth related or otherwise is being handed off to PSM holders.​
